I was super impressed with the quality of work that is represented in this online show. Honestly it is one of the more impressive online shows I have participated in. I wish it were an in person show to really see the work up close. I am honored to be included and to have won first place for the Sculpture category.
Studio Texas proudly announces the Online Exhibition and winners. We are proud to feature the winners of this beautiful exhibition. We had 311 entries from around the world; 100 pieces of artwork were accepted in the exhibit, with 14 winners selected by our jurors.

I believe that Robert Burridge and I have selected a great show and I’m glad that you’re pleased with it. Bob and I do have some very different views on some of the work, but we also were able to agree on many different aspects of each of the considered works to be able to reach very amicable conclusions regarding the awards. Kate Burridge was a great help to us both and kept us on track. It was a delight to work with both.

WOW! This was fun and a distinct honor for me to jury this year’s Studio Texas Open Competition with my fellow juror Diane D. Mason. Diane and I didn’t always agree with each other’s choices, but we were able to come to an agreement after we both had the thrilling opportunity to passionately discuss and debate our favorites! I feel confident that we have juried a terrific show—the visual impact will impress the viewer who is looking for newness, originality and always the artists’ heart and soul.
