This is probably my most political work of art. lol. I loved working with the structural component using cardboard but I have to say the thumbtacks were painful and slow. However I love the effect that the glimmer of light gives to the project. It does not show in this light very well but I think I may need a bigger studio, very soon. I will be installing this at Artistic Eyewear in Doylestown PA this coming week and starting to complete a few other very exciting projects. Cardboard is my beloved medium, however through this experiment I will be adding some thumb tacks to the next piece as well. Maybe 100 tacks as opposed to tens of thousands. It gives a very unique Las Vegas feel to this installation and I now have some plans to embellish some upcoming art pieces. Let’s look forward to 2021 being full of Peace, Love, Unity, and Hope!
