On January 3rd while working on a really cool project (that we may actually see done in 2021) I was really hopeful for a better year, finding peace in our country and equal rights for all. We are also pulling out of a Pandemic that has disrupted life and made everything seem so dull and sad. But with hope on the horizon I had an idea to make a window display that took those passions and desires and as non-political as possible created a display using numbers and letters. Even though this process is a little off the beaten path for me I enjoyed using my favorite medium, cardboard and adding a really cool effect with the thumbtacks. Can you guess how many thumbtacks I used. I will post an update with the final product next week. I am looking forward to getting back to my half completed project but this seemed like a very timely and important message for the community no matter what your opinions are. Happy New Year and looking forward to brighter days filled with friends and family.
